===== GUI Command Requirements =====

Most ''git'' commands are run in a command line Window, and the output is printed as text.

However, an X server is required to show the output of programs with a graphical user interface that are run on Linux/Unix systems.

When running a native Linux/Unix program in an SSH session originating from a Windows machine,

to be able to display the graphic output.
